IFESS Webinar: Sexual Function for Men Following SCI - Current treatments and recent research

A webinar for people with a spinal cord injury interested in finding out more about current treatment options for sexual functioning in men, how they work and who they are suitable for. This will be followed by an update on recent findings on the rehabilitation of sexual functioning from a survey conducted with the Spinal Injuries Association exploring experiences and opinions of men with spinal cord injury and directions for future research. The session will further provide an update on recent initial case studies conducted into the use of electrical stimulation technologies in the recovery or improvement of sexual functioning. The webinar is open to people with spinal cord injuries, health care professionals and researchers. Register here.

Interdisciplinary Ultrasonics Exhibition at RSNA

An exhibition containing the works coming from the collaborative course between the Herron School of Art, the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Radiology on the Art of Medical Ultrasound is planned at the Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) at McCormick Place in Chicago between the 27th November and 1st December 2022.

IUPUI Cultural Gallery Exhibition: Below the surface: Recasting Reality with Ultrasound

The exhibition took place in the Cultural Arts Gallery, which is located on the 1st floor of the Campus Center just next to the Bookstore. There were over 30 printed images and videos on display created by participants in the class, including visual artworks, a Biomedical Engineering research poster , and a video documenting your reflections on this interdisciplinary collaboration.
